As Executive Vice President at The Walsh Company, John oversees all construction and project management services across the firm, including core and shell buildings, renovations, capital improvements, office interiors, and site work improvements. In this role, he is responsible for guiding project teams, ensuring operational excellence, maintaining quality standards, and supporting strong client relationships from pre-construction through closeout. John plays a key role in setting company-wide strategies, streamlining processes, and mentoring project managers and field staff to consistently deliver successful outcomes.
John Mercurio brings more than 20 years of experience in the construction industry, with a proven record of leading complex projects across a wide range of scopes and building types. His deep understanding of construction operations, scheduling, budgeting, and project execution allows him to manage challenges effectively while keeping projects on track and within budget.
Prior to joining The Walsh Company, John served as Vice President of Construction for Avison Young’s New Jersey office, where he led construction operations for commercial real estate projects throughout the region. His background in both development and construction management gives him a well-rounded perspective that benefits clients and project teams alike.
John’s leadership, attention to detail, and commitment to excellence continue to support the successful delivery of projects of increasing size and complexity, making him a valued leader within the Walsh organization.
