Michelle Pfistner joins The Walsh Company as a Project Manager, bringing more than a decade of experience supporting complex, ground-up construction projects across multiple markets. Her background spans large-scale self-storage developments, high-rise residential construction, and major public infrastructure projects.

Most recently, Michelle served as an Assistant Project Manager at PB Brown, LLC, where she supported multiple self-storage builds across New Jersey, Florida, and California, totaling more than $52 million in project value. Prior to that, she spent five years with Plaza Construction working on the iconic 99 Hudson project in Jersey City—a $565+ million, 79-story high-rise residential tower. Earlier in her career, Michelle worked in Document Control at KS Engineers, PC, supporting the $256+ million Harrison Station Replacement Project for the Port Authority of New York & New Jersey.

Throughout her career, Michelle has gained extensive experience across preconstruction, procurement, permitting, contract administration, and project closeout, working under both GMP and Lump Sum contracts. She is skilled in coordinating with Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJs), managing subcontractor buyouts, overseeing RFIs, submittals, change orders, and pay applications, while supporting overall cost control efforts.

Michelle’s diverse background provides her with a strong command of contract administration, disciplined document control, procurement and permitting processes, and clear communication with all project stakeholders—including owners, architects, consultants, subcontractors, and internal project teams.

Outside of work, Michelle enjoys hiking, indoor rock climbing, and horseback riding. She also values time spent with family and friends and is an active volunteer at an animal rescue.
