As Senior Project Manager for The Walsh Company’s Boston division, Isabel Acuna is responsible for Construction, Project Management and Development related activities including ground up construction and renovations for commercial and industrial projects.
Prior to joining The Walsh Company, Isabel served as a Project Manager for Barr & Barr, Inc. a New York Construction firm with offices in Framingham, MA. Her primary project focus included academic, healthcare, laboratory research, historical, and multipurpose commercial construction.
Isabel graduated from Monterrey Institute of Technology in 1993 with a degree of “Excellence” in Civil Engineering. In the years following, she worked on several high profile projects in Monterrey, one of Mexico’s largest cities, allowing her to further enhance her career in Structural Engineering and Construction Management.
In 2000 Isabel obtained her Masters Degree in Civil Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), concentrating her studies in Project Management and Construction Engineering. She enhanced her masters at MIT by simultaneously attending courses at Harvard University.
