Edward S. Walsh is the founder and President of The Walsh Company, a multi-service advisory organization specializing in client representation and project management services. Ed started The Walsh Company in 2003 from his home in Basking Ridge, and developed it into a successful firm of fifty-plus employees based in Morristown, New Jersey with offices in White Plains, NY, Boston, MA and Washington, DC. Ranked by NJBIZ in 2009 and 2010 as one of the Top Companies to work for in New Jersey, The Walsh Company is recognized throughout the Real Estate and Construction Industries for its quality of service and steadfast dedication to their clients.

Ed’s vision while establishing The Walsh Company was to create an organization that would provide owners and tenants exceptional service, quality and value throughout every phase of their project by not only meeting their goals but exceeding their expectations. By focusing on bringing in the leaders in their respective fields, seasoned professionals with strong relationships in their markets, Ed was able to successfully build, in a short time, a diverse reputable organization that today is well known and respected in the real estate industry. Ed began his career with Boswell Engineering. Lending to his diverse background were subsequent positions with Bomar Builders and over 10 years as Senior Vice President at Gale & Wentworth. Ed has a Bachelor’s of Science in Civil Engineering from Villanova University and is a registered Professional Engineer in the state of New Jersey.

Ed is actively involved in helping to raise funds for several nonprofit organizations in Morris & Somerset Counties. He has been recognized for his philanthropic efforts on behalf of the American Cancer Society, Somerset Hills Learning Institute, Interfaith Food Pantry of Morristown and Family Service of Morris County. He was appointed to Governor Chris Christie’s Environmental Protection Transition Subcommittee in 2009 and is currently Chairman of the Board for the School Development Authority (SDA). Ed is also a board member of the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC).

Ed resides in Basking Ridge with his wife of 21 years and three girls ages 17, 15 and 13. He is an avid golfer and member of Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster, New Jersey where he has won the club championship twice.
